FAQ

WHO IS MONEYWISE CONVEYANCING?

MoneyWise Conveyancing (MWC Ltd) is a dedicated and specialist conveyancing platform. Its sole aim and objective is to provide the most efficient, economical and professional legal representation for you from its panel of carefully identified and selected solicitors/conveyancers.

WHO WILL REPRESENT ME?

Once you are happy with your quotation and instruct MWC, MWC will safely allocate your matter to one of the specialist solicitor’s firm on its panel. It is the specialist solicitor/conveyancer who is your legal representative and your point of contact throughout the process. MWC Ltd remains involved throughout the process by being part of the case management process. Despite your representation by the firm, MWC is always at hand to assist you with any questions or queries you may have.

WHO DO I PAY?

You can call and make payment via phone. If accepting the quote online, you shall be contacted by a member of our team or you can also call and instruct us directly. Upon instruction, you will be required to make a deposit payment to MWC. This payment shall vary, depending on the nature of your matter. Following are some common costs which can constitute your deposit payment:

– ID & Anti Money Laundering (AML) checks (£19.99)
– File opening / Case management & Case Tracking Fee (£49.99)
– Searches + Buyers Protection Policy (£249.99) if applicable when purchasing
– Sellers Protection Policy if applicable when selling (£74.99) if applicable

The remainder of the legal fees and any disbursements/supplements as stated on your quote shall be made payable to your solicitor nearer to completion of your matter and you will receive a completion statement which will reflect the initial quote.

There is no duplication of charges. It’s very simple and straightforward. You make payment for your quote in two instalments, the first to MWC Ltd and the second to your appointed solicitor. You shall not be hit with sudden additional costs as transparency from start to finish is what sets us apart from our competitors and the clarity with which we operate with our partners saves you the confusion.

HOW DO I GET UPDATES ON MY MATTER?

Don’t find yourself wondering and always remain in control. Upon instructing us, you shall be provided with a username and password for our case tracking portal.

Who has access to the portal:

1.  You

2. Your solicitor

3. Moneywise Conveyancing Ltd

The portal is updated as your case progresses so you can track your matter conveniently yourself and be notified via email of updates as and when they occur.

Solicitors can experience busy periods and hence MWC Ltd remains part of the process to ensure that you are not left guessing upon the status of your matter. Sign in anytime and navigate through our easy to use case tracking software to keep yourself aware and up to date.

WHY INSTRUCT MWC Ltd & NOT A LOCAL SOLICITOR?

MWC Ltd only works with firms that possess the necessary skillset & expertise. In essence, our solicitors have been vetted rigorously before being accepted on the panel and hence we are not dealing with someone who maybe local but are unknown in terms of the provision of quality and service.

We have solicitors and conveyancers located nationally and hence we are not limited on location but what we ensure is that irrespective of the distance between you and your solicitor, your matter is dealt with professionally and ethically.

Regardless of your solicitor’s location, they specialise in dealing with clients situated all over the UK, hence providing you with peace of mind compared to having a local solicitor but suffering sleepless nights, sacrificing time off work and time from your everyday life to go and chase solicitors who need you to book an appointment prior to speaking to you.

THE ADVANTAGE OF INSTRUCTING THROUGH MWC Ltd?

Due to the growth and bulk of work MWC Ltd is being instructed with, we have negotiated more economical deals with our panel solicitors/conveyancers. This gives you the advantage of paying less for the same service you would expect to receive from elsewhere.

Although we may not be the cheapest, but we maintain and encourage an exemplary relationship between our clients and panel solicitors. This results in you receiving a high class service at the most competitive rate.

WHO DO I MAKE A COMPLAINT TO?

The solicitors representing you shall have a complaints handling procedure. At MWC Ltd, we are always at hand to deal with and assist with any issues that you may identify as being of concern to you.

We are here to ensure your satisfaction and complete peace of mind so please do not hesitate to contact us with your valuable input as we want our clients to be directly involved in our growth and success.

HOW LONG DO SEARCHES TAKE?
